Sumiya is a small circle of makers who build books, sites, apps and brands that go out under someone else's name. If you write, design, or build at a quiet, exacting level, we'd like to know you. The work is real, the clients are serious, and the credit is theirs by design.
Why we're looking
Every project that leaves the workshop (a full-length book, a navigable site, an app, a brand) is made by hand, end to end, under the client's name. One person can grind the ink for a while, but a real studio is a circle of people who each do one thing beautifully.
So we keep a quiet bench of collaborators. Writers who disappear into another voice. Designers who make a page feel inevitable. Developers who build things that simply work. If that's you, the form below is the door.

These are the skills behind everything we make. You don't need all of them, you need one, done at a level you're quietly proud of. Apply even if your craft isn't named exactly: if it serves the work, we want to hear from you.

Web · Email · LaunchesShape a manuscript and then polish it until it's clean. Structure, line edit, fact-check, the last read before a client's name goes on it.
Structural · Line · Copy-editRewrite, never just translate. We work in English, Italian and Polish, and want more. Each language must read as if it were written there first.
